Collision repair in Hawthorne, CA

After an accident most people want two things: an honest picture of what is wrong with the car, and someone who will deal with the insurance company. That is the core of what we do. We are a family-owned shop at 12911 Cerise Ave, we repair front, rear and side impacts on cars, light commercial vehicles and motorcycles, and we accept all insurance companies. The written estimate is free and you are under no obligation to book the repair.

What happens after you bring the car in

First we look at the vehicle and write an estimate from what is visible, and we photograph everything. That estimate goes to your insurer. Once the work is authorised we begin disassembly, and this is where the real picture appears: a bumper comes off and shows a crushed absorber and a cracked support, a fender comes off and shows a displaced bracket. Anything found at this stage is documented and sent to the adjuster as a supplement. Then comes the repair itself — panel work or replacement, preparation, refinishing, reassembly and a final check that panel gaps, lights and closures line up the way they should.

Front, rear and side impacts are different problems

A front impact concentrates damage where the most equipment lives: cooling, lighting, sensors and the mounting points that hold them. A rear impact is often underestimated, because a bumper cover can look survivable while the absorber, reinforcement and trunk floor behind it are not. Side impacts spread damage along a flank — door skins, pillars, rockers and mirror mounts — and are the ones where alignment of the finished repair is most obvious, because everyone looks down the side of a car in the sun. In every case we tell you what we found and show you the photographs.

When the damage goes deeper than the panels

Sometimes disassembly shows the impact travelled past the outer skin into structure and mounting points. That changes the scope, the cost and the timeline, and it is not something we discover quietly and add to the bill. We explain what we have found, document it for the insurer, and discuss the options with you before continuing. If a car is not worth repairing, saying so early is more useful to you than an impressive estimate.

Dealing with your insurance company

In California the choice of repair facility belongs to the vehicle owner. Your insurer may recommend a shop from its network, but you can bring the car here and your claim stays valid. We accept all insurance companies, take the damage photos, speak with the adjuster and file a supplement if hidden damage shows up during disassembly.

Working with a specific carrier? We have pages for GEICO, State Farm, AAA, Progressive, Allstate, Mercury and Farmers, plus a general insurance claims page.

Collision repair: common questions

Do I need an appointment for an estimate?

No. You can drive in during opening hours, or send photos of the damage and we will come back to you with a written estimate at no charge.

My car is not drivable. Can it be brought to you?

Yes. Towing is arranged through a third-party partner. Call us with the location and we will organise the pick-up.

How long will my repair take?

A single panel or bumper is usually a few days. Larger jobs take longer, and waiting for the insurer to approve a supplement can add time. We give you a realistic date once the car is disassembled.

Do you work with my insurance company?

Yes. We accept all insurance companies, take the damage photos, communicate with the adjuster and file supplements when hidden damage appears.

Can I choose this shop even if my insurer suggests another one?

Yes. In California the choice of repair facility belongs to the vehicle owner. Your claim remains valid when you bring the car here.

What if you find more damage after the repair is approved?

That is normal and it is what a supplement is for. We document what appeared during disassembly, send it to the adjuster and continue once it is approved.

Do you repair motorcycles after a collision?

Yes. We do body and paint work on motorcycles, including tank, fairing and panel repair.

Will the repaired area match the rest of the car?

Yes. We match colour to the car as it is now and blend into adjacent panels rather than stopping at a seam.
