Free estimate — send photos or drive in

You do not need an appointment and you do not need to leave the car with us to find out what a repair will cost. Send photographs of the damage and we will come back with a written estimate, free and with no obligation to book the work. If you would rather have someone look at the car in person, drive in during opening hours at 12911 Cerise Ave in Hawthorne.

How to send the photos

Text them to (323) 661-6600 or email 711body@gmail.com. Tell us the year, make and model, and whether the car is drivable. If there is a claim open, include the insurer and the claim number. If you prefer, fill in the form below and we will contact you.

Which photos actually help

  • One wide shot of the whole car from the damaged side, so we can see the panel in context
  • One straight-on shot of the damaged area from about a metre away
  • One close-up of the worst part of the damage
  • One taken at a low, raking angle — this is what reveals whether a dent is shallow or creased
  • A photo of any cracked or broken plastic, lights or sensors
  • A photo of the VIN plate or the paint code label in the door jamb if you can find it

Daylight, no direct flash, and a clean panel if possible. A wet or dirty surface hides exactly the detail we need.

What you get back

A written estimate with the parts and labour we expect the job to need, and a plain explanation of the choices — whether a bumper can be repaired instead of replaced, whether a dent qualifies for paintless dent repair, whether the number is close enough to your deductible that a claim is not worth opening. A photo estimate is an honest starting point, but it is written from the outside: if the car comes in and disassembly shows more, we document it and, on a claim, send it to the adjuster as a supplement.

If you are going through insurance

In California the choice of repair facility belongs to the vehicle owner. Your insurer may recommend a shop from its network, but you can bring the car here and your claim stays valid. We accept all insurance companies, take the damage photos, speak with the adjuster and file a supplement if hidden damage shows up during disassembly.

Working with a specific carrier? We have pages for GEICO, State Farm, AAA, Progressive, Allstate, Mercury and Farmers, plus a general insurance claims page.

Claim guides: choosing your own body shop in California, what a supplement is, how your deductible works, rental car while your car is in the shop and OEM vs aftermarket parts.

Free estimate: common questions

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. There is no charge for the estimate and no obligation to have the work done here.

How quickly will I hear back?

Normally the same day during opening hours. If you send photos late in the evening we will come back to you the next morning.

Can you give a final price from photos alone?

We can give an accurate written estimate of the visible damage. What no one can see in a photograph is what sits behind a bumper or a fender, which is why supplements exist.

Do I need my insurance claim number first?

No. Many people ask for an estimate before deciding whether to open a claim at all, which is a sensible order to do it in.

What if the estimate is less than my deductible?

Then paying directly is usually the better option, and we will say so. You keep the claim off your record and often pay less overall.

Do I have to leave the car when I come in?

No. An in-person estimate takes a few minutes and you drive away with it. You only leave the car when you decide to go ahead.

Can you estimate motorcycle damage from photos too?

Yes. The same photo guidance applies: wide shot, straight-on, close-up, and one at a low angle.

My car is not drivable. Can you still help?

Yes. Send photos from where the car is, and if you go ahead we can arrange a tow through a third-party partner.
